The History of Indigo Tide
2002Indigo Tide started trading as "DB Technology Solutions" in February of 2002, operating out of offices in Edinburgh's Princes Street.
DB Tech offered a range of Oracle technical training around the core Oracle Technology stack.
2003We formed a division, called "Indigo Tide", offering contract and consultancy services to compliment the existing
technical training division.
2003also saw us moving into a new head office. The offices formed two floors of a Merchants Mansion house built in the 1700's in the
historical old port area of the Shore in Edinburgh.
2004Indigo's first regional office in the park circus area Glasgow's West End.
2004also saw an increase in the size and breadth of skills in the technical team with a much greater focus on Oracle Web
Development technologies such as Application Server and Oracle Application Express (formerly HTMLDB).
2005our training and consultancy divisions merged with the company being rebranded as Indigo Tide Limited. Merging our divisions
gave us a larger pool of skills available to both the training, consultancy and software development divisions of the business.
2006saw continued expansion in both our technical expertise and our range of customers and industry experience. A number of
new partnerships were also formed to supplement our protfolio in complimentary technologies such as Prince2 and Oracle Applications skills.
2006also saw the addition of a new Business Development and Support team, improving our overall product.
2007saw us release an impoved training schedule of Oracle technical courses in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Leeds. We also successfully increased the size of the team, helping us also cover a wider range of project work for our clients. An office move also saw us take on a new out of town office with far improved services allowing us to centralise the team.
